MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Balboa Park Hall of Champions
February 20, 1991

1. President Ken Bernard called the meeting to order at 7:20 p.m. In addition to the President and Secretary, the attendees were Lolitia Bache, Linda Gorman, Kevin Heaton, Jim Skelly, and Bill Stock.
2. The Board approved the minutes of the meeting of December 19.
3. The President gave the Treasurer's report. The checking account balance was $ 14,664.11, while the certificates of deposit were another $16,000.
4. The President displayed Cohagen's Challenge Series and Membership Renewal Flyer. The standard renewal form will be distributed with some of the flyers.
5. Skelly reported on the Officials Association activities, including efforts to increase the number of certified officials.
6. The President reviewed the workout sanction forms issued by the national office.
7. The President named Lolitia Bache to replace Linda Gorman as Youth chairman. The current assignments are as follows:

8. The Board set March 15 as the preferred date for the annual awards dinner. The awards committee will meet February 27.
9. The Board approved Heaton's motion to include the 1991 San Diego Marathon in the Challenge Series. The number of scoring races will increase to seven.
10. The meeting adjourned at 8:43 p.m.
