ANNUAL MEETING

Balboa Park Hall of Champions
December 16, 1998

1. President Ken Bernard called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. In addition to the President and Secretary, the attendees were Nelson Alexander, Lolitia Bache, Felicia Barmer, Matt Barbour, Erl Cabanas, Nick Canrinus, Ernesto Casteneda, Kathy Hill, Roland Morris Jr., Ed Oleata, Patty Oleata, Alan Olson, Nick Redman, Arnie Robinson, Joni Shirley, Jim Skelly, Tracy Sundlun, and Elizabeth Tate.
2. The Board approved the minutes of the meeting of October 21, 1998.
3. The President gave the Treasurer's report. The checking account balance was $3782.62 as of November 10, while the certificates of deposit were another $16,000.
4. The members elected the following Officers for two-year terms:

5. The President reappointed the current committee chairmen.

6. Ed Oleata announced that the Association Masters Track & Field Championships will be at UCSD June 19.
7. The President gave each of the members an opportunity to speak about their perspectives on our sport, and what USATF and the Association should do to improve athletics. Those who had attended the Convention reported on the meetings they attended there.
8. The meeting adjourned at 8:58 p.m.
